Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facility Maintenance Management:
    • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of area facilities, ELV, LV, and HV.
    • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions to area covers.
    • Monitor and ensure the performance of essential building systems (electrical, genset, and other related systems).
  2. Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and regulatory standards, including health and safety guidelines.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities and equipment to identify issues or areas for improvement.
  3. Team Coordination:
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of the maintenance team and client.
    • Provide guidance and training to maintenance personnel to enhance their performance and efficiency.
    • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and facility operations.
    • Source and procure maintenance materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans for facility-related incidents.
    • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to mitigate risks and ensure patient safety.
  4. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance certifications.
    • Prepare periodic reports on facility operations, maintenance costs, and performance metrics for management review.

• Provide technical advice and expertise on mechanical & electrical equipment for troubleshooting.
• Communicate with the respective department, customer, and vendor on the daily activity needed.
• Facilities maintenance engineer performs strategic planning as well as routine operational planning related to buildings' administration and maintenance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in facility/maintenance services.
  2. or
  3. Diploma in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of experience in facility/maintenance services (preferably hospital facilities).

Skills and Expertise:

  1. Strong knowledge of facility and maintenance operations.
  2. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management software/tools.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
