Facility and Safety Officer (based in Cyberjaya)

To plan and execute preventive maintenance for all material handling equipment, building and relevant facilities.

To manage, implement and maintain overall safety procedure and awareness in Distribution Centre (DC).

To coordinate and monitor day to day maintenance and security duties with maintenance team and outsourced contractors and security guards.

To attend and take appropriate rectification actions on all maintenance, security, and technical matters in timely manner.

To ensure all services performed by contractors are properly documented.

To follow up and execute licenses renewal and inspection by relevant authority.

To maintain site security equipment and provide training or guidance when required e.g., CCTV, iVMS and alarm system.

To maintain the relationship with the local police department in preventing security threats and promoting safe environment.

To coordinate Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) activities and HSE operations together with Emergency Response Team (ERT) committee.

To liaise closely with Jabatan Keselamatan Dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan (JKKP) on the safety and health audit conducted at warehouse.

Reporting to Warehouse manager.

To perform other relevant tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical or equivalent.

• Minimum five (5) years working experience, preferably in manufacturing or logistic industry.

• Those registered as Safety and Health Coordinator with JKKP will be an added advantage.

• Possess good technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical.

• Have knowledge in licenses renewal and authority inspections.

• Willing to work on all Saturday (half day).

• Applicants must be willing to work in Cyberjaya.
