An exciting opportunity to work with an expanding Swedish company based in Simpang Ampat as we are seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities Supervisor to join their dynamic Engineering team.
Job Descriptions
Oversee the management of public equipment and facilities, including water supply and drainage, air conditioning systems, compressed air systems, exhaust systems, and pure wastewater systems.
Perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems for facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
Schedule routine inspections and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and repair costs.
Manage maintenance plans and equipment maintenance budgets.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance work.
Manage and ensure the safe operation of hazardous chemicals and chemical warehouses.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure machinery and facilities comply with safety regulations and standards.
Respond to urgent maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruptions.
Supervise maintenance technicians, arrange department tasks and assign tasks, and provide guidance and support on preventive maintenance plans and troubleshooting tasks.
Responsible for the safety, health and environmental issues in the plant.
Liaise with government officials including DOE, Bomba on all EHS issues and support the audit activities.
Job Requirements
SPM/Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Electric / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
Strong planning and coordination skills, equipment failure analysis and judgment, and good problem-solving skills.
Minimum 4 years of leadership in related working experience, preferably in Manufacturing Industry.
2 years and above of experience in equipment maintenance and management.
Familiar with national power facilities and relevant laws and regulations on 3’R wastes.
Good understanding of the operation of machines used in the production line.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
