JR57194 Facilities Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Responsibilities
  1. Operation & Maintenance
  2. Be the Mechanical System owner for cooling towers, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split units, cold room system, PCW system operation, CDA system, vacuum system, exhaust system, and BMS system.
  3. Provide support for operational issues and root cause analysis with basic knowledge of the systems to continuously improve the system.
  4. Analyze system capabilities and future requirements during scenario evaluations based on manufacturing capacity and demand.
  5. Support design reviews for base build systems in your area of responsibility ensuring specifications are met and cost reduction improvements are identified.
  6. Support tool install designs for the systems that connect to those tools ensuring specifications are met and cost reduction improvements are identified.
  7. Review and support capacity analysis for your systems tracking against actual data from the facility.
  8. Identify and evaluate risk analysis for your systems and propose possible improvements to meet departmental LO1K target.
  9. Practice 6S and TPM2.0 with facilities 12 Discipline on daily work to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  10. Equipment and Facilities Process
  11. Provide solutions to real-time equipment and process problems.
  12. Use, identify, and implement equipment and process control methods.
  13. Develop and implement long-term improvements in equipment or processes that result in cost reduction, improved reliability, and safety improvements.
  14. Identify root cause from excursions or abnormal operations and conduct analytical improvement and lessons learned as part of preventive actions.
  15. Identify and evaluate interactions between equipment and processes and resolve potential problems.
  16. Perform all maintenance work as per Maximo/SAP schedule and enhance the maintenance job to reduce equipment downtime.
  17. Project
  18. Participate in or manage specific projects.
  19. Involve in project scheduling and planning for efficient and effective project execution.
  20. Manage and control availability of manpower, material, cost, timeline, and ensure quality in delivery.
  21. Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS)
  22. Follow all EHSS procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  23. Ensure compliance of all facility equipment in accordance with regulations.
  24. Ensure compliance of daily activity in the facility within the regulatory permissible limit.
  25. Cost Reduction
  26. Responsible for reducing costs associated within the area and meeting departmental target CAVS. This responsibility may include owning and completing cost reduction projects, identifying cost-effective sustaining/manufacturing improvements, minimizing regular expenditures, and helping to promote a cost-conscious culture.
Requirement
  1. Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Minimum 5 years related experience in the industry field of mechanical system background (HVAC/ CDA/ Exhaust/ Vacuum/ Chilled water).
  3. Knowledgeable on local code requirements such as BOMBA, UBBL, ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001, etc.
  4. Lead the team to perform operation & maintenance activities.
  5. Additionally, continue driving mechanical system performance such as quality improvement, energy saving, etc.
  6. Familiar with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), and possess problem-solving skills.
  7. Knowledge of AutoCAD and local code requirements will be an added advantage.
  8. Self-motivated, possess initiative, and ability to work independently.
  9. Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
