Facilities Engineer

Coordinate and oversee M&E works, including VAC (Ventilation and Air-Conditioning), Chilled Water, Compressed Dry Air (CDA), firefighting systems, building maintenance, and other utility systems.

Provide technical & engineering support in managing the building facilities and equipment system control for better performance.

Work on procurement, repairs, installation, testing, commissioning, and quality inspections of all facility related items.

Monitor project progress, work scheduling, manpower allocation, and material requirements.

Review, schedule and collaborate with production teams & vendors to resolve facility related issues.

Manage Preventive Maintenance control system, ensuring all aspect compliance to ENV, JKKP/ Factories and Machinery Act, Electricity Supply Act, Fire Services Act and other Regulations.

Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions for facility related issues.

Ensure compliance with all local and international safety regulations, legal requirements, and Quality standards.

Implement and drive 5S workplace organization and support additional facility projects as assigned.

The key major equipment that needs to be maintained:

• Electrical system
• Heat ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)/ Air compressor system (CDA)
• Cooling tower / Chilled water system
• City water system

Job Requirements:

Degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related.

Strong knowledge of M&E and factory utility and facility systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and facility-related issues (Hands-on).

Possess with good and effective communication skills with all levels.

Excellent analytical, interpersonal skills and leadership skills are required.

Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity as a Facility Engineer is a must and being from a semiconductor background will be an added advantage but not a necessity.

Working knowledge of DOE / OSHA (i.e. ISO 14001)
