Responsibilities & Skills

Join the winning team! Lattice is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lab Engineer to manage the lab, facilities and logistics. This position would be responsible for ensuring the continuous safe and conducive operations of the office facilities, inclusive of the electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural infrastructure.

He/She will attend to basic procurement, trouble-shooting, repairs or setups, while supervising vendors on major maintenance, repairs or fit-out activities.

1. Implement & monitor Site Facilities Maintenance Program
2. Act as site Lead for Global EHS program, including coordination with local government agencies in securing permits & prepares required reports.
3. Manage the lab environment for orderliness, allocation of resources and handling of potentially hazardous materials, as well as coordinating the equipment calibration.
4. Manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments, inclusive of import duties, permit applications and tracking.
5. Respond to facilities emergencies successfully, while helping to ensure the safety of the employees.
6. Assist with special projects & other duties as assigned.

Candidate profile:

1. Relevant diploma and/or professional certification (Mechanical or Electrical) with over 5 years of experience in lab or facilities management.
2. Ability to communicate effectively.
3. Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
4. Accountable, responsive, resourceful and self-driven.
5. Experienced in managing engineering labs and office facilities, inclusive of electricals, lab benches, compressed air infrastructure, air-conditioning systems and basic plumbing.
6. Experienced in managing office infrastructure, maintenance and fit-out vendors.
7. Knowledge/experience in occupational safety and health regulations would be an added advantage.
8. Knowledge/experience in basic logistics would be a plus.
9. Project management skills and computer literate.
