Role Overview:
The Export Executive will manage and grow Suntraco Food Industries' international markets by servicing existing customers, monitoring sales KPIs, planning promotions, and driving business development efforts. The role also involves liaising with government agencies like MATRADE and may require international travel for exhibitions or customer visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary contact for existing export customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing inquiries.
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships to encourage customer loyalty and repeat business.
  2. Track and analyze sales KPIs to evaluate performance against targets.
  3. Plan and execute promotional activities to boost sales in international markets.
  4. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in potential export markets.
    • Conduct market research and approach prospective clients to expand the international customer base.
  5. Engagement with Government Agencies:
    • Collaborate with key government agencies like MATRADE to obtain support, market intelligence, and export resources.
    • Leverage government programs to enhance export activities.
  6. International Travel:
    • Represent the company at overseas exhibitions, trade shows, and customer visits.
    • Present company offerings to potential clients and partners during international engagements.
  7. Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure export activities comply with international trade regulations.
    • Assist in preparing necessary documentation for export processes.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-3 years in export sales or business development.
    • Experience in the food industry is a plus.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • Familiarity with export regulations and documentation processes.
  4. Fluency in English is required.
  5. Additional languages relevant to target markets are advantageous.
  6. Core Competencies:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
    • Self-motivated and proactive in pursuing business opportunities.
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
