Executive - Shipping (Export)
Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure Sales Order data in D365 are available and accurate as per latest update by Sales /Marketing.
- To raise vessel booking to shipping agent with accurate information.
- To ensure booking confirmation received with correct required information.
- To communicate with agents / liner for shipping quotation.(CIF shipments)
- To communicate with agents/liner on return cargo arrangement from customer.
- To arrange for container booking request to forwarding agent.
- To monitor/ensure PIC follow up on container delivery by Haulage Company.
- To check and verify shipment release before forward to QA department.
- To prepare and check all shipping document before forward to related parties such as Invoice, packing list, shipping instruction etc.
- To check e-PR/ invoice received from agent before submit for approval.
- To ensure 3rd party documents/ supporting document required being obtained on timely basis.
- To ensure payment is secured before shipments is made. To follow up with account/ sales department for LC and T/T in advance.
- To observes and implements policies, procedures and work instruction for the department.
- To provide suitable training for staff to ensure they are well trained to carry out function effectively.
- To assist in sourcing of shipping rates and rates negotiation.
- To prepare and monitor container / loading planning.
- To check e-PR and PO issuance by Shipping Department.
- To check and verify Marine Certificate of Insurance issued for CIF shipment and Debit Note from insurance company.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Shipping / Logistic / Supply Chain or others equivalent or Diploma in related field with 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.
- Fresh graduates is encourage to apply.
- Good written & communication skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia)
