Executive / Senior Executive, Internal Audit (Actuarial)

This role is responsible for carrying out operational audits to evaluate the adequacy of the control environment of the business owner and to ensure compliance with standard policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

You'll be responsible for:

• Conducting, reviewing, and recommending improvements to existing internal control systems as well as monitoring the effects of risk exposures on all significant areas.
• Preparing audit reports that reflect audit results and recommending action plans or constructive solutions on audit findings.
• Conducting follow-up audits to monitor management’s response to the issues raised.
• Assisting in the preparation of various assurance reports to the Audit Committee/Regional/Group Audit Office and participating in projects in an advisory capacity.

Important to your success:

• Degree in Accounting or any finance-related discipline. A degree in Actuarial Science is highly preferred.
• Proficient in principles and practices of accounting and audit standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements, as well as knowledge in techniques related to the financial services industry.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the insurance industry or a related discipline in a financial institution.
• Strong analytical skills and results-oriented with effective report writing skills and be prepared to travel.
