Industrial & Employee Relations (Human Resources & Recruitment)

The Executive/Senior Executive, Human Resources will be responsible for managing and executing HR functions that are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. The role involves recruiting, developing, and retaining talent while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. The incumbent will also drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, to attract and hire top talent.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on HR policies.
  • Implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive work environment.
  • Address employee grievances and mediate conflicts to maintain workplace harmony.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on effective performance management practices.
  • Facilitate performance reviews and help develop improvement plans as needed.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of relevant training programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure that HR practices comply with local labour laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, performance evaluations, and other HR. 
  • Prepare and submit HR reports as required by management.
  • Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs, including payroll and insurance.
  • Participate in the planning and executing HR projects that align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Familiar with Info-Tech systems to process payroll data, including employee earnings, deductions, taxes, and other payroll-related transactions.
  • Ensure timely distribution of payroll to employees, including direct payment and issuance of payslip.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
