Job Responsibilities
01) To liaise with the local authority (especially DOSH) on matters concerning:
(i) Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and its Regulations.
(ii) Factories and Machineries Act / FMA 1967 and its Regulations.
02) To ensure all responsibilities discharged on day-to-day work in accordance with company SOP.
03) To prepare annual safety training program based on the training needs/ competency analysis and arrangement for the implementation.
04) To conduct inspections at the workplace and to investigate, make reports and recommendations on safety-related matters.
05) To coordinate Personal Protective Equipment in the plants and make recommendations to the management.
06) To prepare company’s accident statistics, monitoring, and analysis on the safety achievements.
07) Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.
08) The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure/ instruction.
Job Requirements
01) Degree holder in any related field of study equivalent from reputable universities.
02) Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
03) Results-oriented, strong follow-up, and good negotiation skills.
04) Pleasant personality and able to interact with all levels of people.
