JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, conduct, analyze, and produce reports related to research.
• Utilize a variety of research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data analysis, to gather relevant information.
• Formulate evidence-based policy recommendations.
• Employ statistical techniques to derive actionable insights from research findings.
• Prepare detailed and well-organized research reports.
• Implement best practices to maintain high standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in research methods, and relevant technologies.
• Prepare communication materials to support internal and external stakeholders' engagement.
• Update and monitor research, projects, and programs.
• Represent events and activities to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Produce reports and publications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Malaysian nationality with excellent proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Urban/Town and Regional Planning, Economics, Political Science, Management, Business Studies, Engineering, and other related fields.
• 1 - 5 years of relevant working experience in any related industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English with the ability to communicate at a senior level both internally and externally.
• Knowledgeable in politics and socioeconomic developments in Malaysia.
• Certification in any data and analytics tools - SPSS/Tableau/Power BI/SimilarWeb/Microsoft, Google Analytics is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable and well-versed in political and socioeconomic issues and developments locally and internationally.
• Excellent command of related computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Office and Project Management Application).
• Well-versed in research management tools and analytics.
• Resilient and can work under pressure.
• Agile, creative, and innovative.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain and build rapport with stakeholders.
• Able to collaborate with internal divisions in IDR to realize projects and programs.
• Able to lead and be a proactive team player.
• Able to execute special task projects.
