Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and source profitable sites for the opening of 7-Eleven stores in line with the Company's store growth targets.
• Conduct site surveys & evaluations, complete and submit site proposals for management consideration.
• Arrange and coordinate site inspections and procure requisite tenancy documentation from landlords.
• Liaise with landlords leading to the execution of tenancy agreements and taking of vacant possession.
• Engage with landlords, agents, or leasing personnel for managed and non-managed properties.
• Identify and articulate reasoning for proposed locations within designated areas which are to be substantiated via qualitative/comparative assessments undertaken with utmost professionalism and transparency.
• Other short-term project-based tasks as assigned by leadership of the department.
• Perform any other work as required.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate preferably to have at least 1 (one) year working experience in the field of real estate, or retail business development, marketing, public relations, or economics. Experience in retail mall leasing and/or fuel-retail industry engagement would be an added advantage.
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any discipline.
• Disciplined, results-oriented, professional, and able to work with minimum supervision, reporting and updating head-office as pre-determined by leadership.
• Computer literate and reasonably well versed in Microsoft Office, i.e., Excel & Word.
• Good interpersonal skills, and able to work independently as well as collaborate with a diverse spectrum of people, both internally and externally.
• Good understanding and command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and knowledge of legal and professional context will be an added advantage.
