Executive - Procurement (80036)

Sunway Education Group is seeking an Executive – Procurement to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement operations, negotiating with suppliers, analysing procurement data, and sourcing high-quality products and services. Proficiency in Excel or Power BI and strong analytical skills are essential for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversee end-to-end procurement operation, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
2. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency.
3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
4. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
5. Analyse procurement data and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
6. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions.
7. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

REQUIREMENTS/ PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
3. Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) will be an added advantage.
4. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
5. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
6. Experience in sourcing and supplier evaluation.
7. Strong organisational and time management skills.
8. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
