Lead and manage the administration, analyse, and ensure that the routine maintenance was carried out as per program and specification.
Manage and control routine maintenance schedule at mainline and facilities within section.
Conduct regular meetings, refreshing briefings, and training with subordinates and contractors to ensure compliance with all specifications and policies.
Oversee the implementation and monitoring of routine maintenance.
Monitor Performance Measure & Compliance
Analyse and monitor the performance of routine maintenance contractors.
Advise HOS on any non-performance for close monitoring.
Conduct random inspections at site and submit findings to HOS for further improvement of all routine maintenance works in accordance with OSH requirements.
Conduct regular meetings with routine maintenance contractors and subordinates.
Report any activities and matters that involve the section based on the condition of the contract.
Represent management in dealing with clients, local authorities, sub-contractors, and generate good rapport with surrounding neighbours in the dedicated section.
Troubleshoot, analyse, and check all areas within the section and maintenance responsibility.
Appraise and evaluate the quality and status with effectiveness of client satisfaction.
Manage and control any contra flow as and when required during traffic congestion or major disasters.
Annual Budget & Revenue
Plan, prepare, analyse, and control annual budget and revenue within the allocated budget to meet revenue targets.
Formulate and implement heavy repair/upgrading/repair and replacement works according to BQ, stipulated time frame, and specifications.
Achieve and secure revenue for routine maintenance, work orders, repair & replacement work, and other related work as approved in the yearly budget.
Review, analyse, prepare, and report quarterly profit and loss.
Safety & Quality
Execute safety and quality according to company policy, mission, and vision by coordinating and controlling the implementation of safety (OSHA) and quality (ISO) for all works at the section, as well as advising and consulting subordinates and contractors to comply with procedures and regulations according to safety and quality requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Collaborate and facilitate project teams in promoting continuous improvement initiatives and cost-effective service offerings as part of solutions to clients to enhance effectiveness in service delivery and optimise resources.
Knowledge Management
Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of appropriate knowledge management within the area of expertise to enable success in future projects and enhance pace in development.
Stakeholder Management
Provide value-added advisory to all internal stakeholders on matters within the scope of responsibilities, maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders by ensuring that regular engagements take place so that each party is aware of current developments.
People Engagement & Development
Nurture and sustain good relationships with Head of Department and Head of Section/Units in achieving department’s KPI and company-wide goals. Manage the development of skills and capabilities to ensure the right skillsets are in place to continuously improve work performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil infrastructure maintenance and operations.
Proven experience in managing routine maintenance for large-scale infrastructure projects.
Experience with budget planning, analysis, and control within the infrastructure sector.
