Executive, Marketing Communication (Chinese Content)
Act as the champion for brand and corporate identity, ensuring consistent and effective brand positioning across all channels and platforms. Execute branding initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining alignment with the company’s vision and messaging, with a particular focus on the Chinese-speaking market.
Draft, design, translate, and produce marketing materials in Chinese for the marketing unit and other departments, ensuring content is culturally relevant and appropriately localized for both local and international audiences.
Propose and develop monthly marketing campaigns tailored to the Chinese-speaking demographic, aimed at promoting the company’s brand, facilities, and services. Collaborate with the team to execute these campaigns effectively in both Chinese and other languages as needed.
Assist the Senior Executive in recommending, planning, and executing special projects and media partnerships that support marketing initiatives, with a specific focus on Chinese-language media outlets and platforms.
Support the Marketing Communication Senior Executive in managing crisis communications, ensuring that messaging is timely, accurate, and culturally sensitive to the Chinese-speaking audience.
Initiate, coordinate, and manage internal and external events, working closely with different departments to ensure successful execution. Where applicable, provide Chinese-language support for events targeting Chinese-speaking audiences.
Conduct ongoing research to gather market intelligence on Chinese-speaking audiences and trends, helping to develop new services and refine communication strategies that resonate with this demographic.
Lead the creation of Chinese-language content for social media platforms, including monthly planning, post scheduling, and targeted advertisements aimed at the Chinese-speaking market. Ensure campaigns are culturally relevant and effective on platforms like WeChat, Weibo, and others.
Regularly update and maintain Chinese-language content on corporate websites. Monitor website performance, adjust strategies for the Chinese-speaking audience, and ensure localization of digital assets to enhance engagement.
Propose and manage keyword purchases on platforms such as Google Ads, Baidu, and other digital advertising channels to improve online visibility and lead generation in the Chinese-speaking market.
Manage and execute all digital-related tasks, ensuring effective use of digital tools and strategies to enhance marketing efforts, with a focus on engaging the Chinese-speaking audience.
Provide data-driven insights and analytics on the performance of digital platforms, particularly for Chinese-language content, supporting the team in making informed, strategic decisions.
Coordinate and execute email newsletters in Chinese using marketing automation tools, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and culturally relevant to the Chinese-speaking audience.
To perform such other duties which may be assigned from time to time by the Head of BD & Marketing or the Chief Executive Officer or designated representative on behalf of the Management.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the healthcare or medical tourism sector.
Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English as the position requires preparing content in Chinese.
Strong proficiency in translating and creating content in both languages, ensuring cultural accuracy and relevance.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
Ability to work well with teams but also independently.
