Job description

We welcome both experienced professionals and fresh graduates to be part of our HR and/or Accounting teams, offering growth opportunities in each role.

Job Description:

(HR Role)

  1. Develop, implement, and review HR policies, procedures, strategies, and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and statutory requirements.
  2. Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and other legal requirements related to HR practices.
  3. Responsible for full recruitment process including advertising, interviewing, on-boarding, etc.
  4. Responsible for foreign worker permit application, renewal and other foreign worker management matters.
  5. Responsible for employee training & development and HRDF matters.
  6. Responsible for monthly payroll and statutory submission (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN).
  7. Administer performance appraisal, prepare and/or recommend bonuses and salary increment.
  8. Work with management/ department head and employee on feedback, disciplinary issues, etc.
  9. Monitor daily attendance of employee and administer employee’s leave application.
  10. Maintain proper filing system, update and ensure the employee information is up to date in HR system.
  11. Responsible for all insurance related matters.
  12. Prepare all HR documentation.
  13. Other ad-hoc duties and organizational projects as assigned.

(Accounts Role)

Handling full spectrum of Accounts Receivables (AR):

  1. Issue A/R downpayment invoices, payment claims, tax invoices and monthly Statement of Account, after gathering and verifying relevant documentation e.g. customer contract, customer PO, SO, DO, customer payment certificate.
  2. Monitor and collect outstanding A/R by contacting customer via telephone, email, and mail.
  3. Maintain A/R records to ensure Aging is up to date, CN and customer payments are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
  4. Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits and cash receipts, and posting of incoming A/R payments.
  5. Assist in preparation of tax filings and customs filings.
  6. Assist in preparation of A/R financial reports for management using standard templates, and provide recommendations for follow-up actions based on analysis of data.

Handling full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP):

  1. Take in A/P downpayment invoices and tax invoices, after gathering and verifying relevant documentation e.g. PO, supplier DO, IQA/IQC, supplier SOA.
  2. Monitor cashflow and plan A/P payments to suppliers.
  3. Maintain A/P records to ensure Aging is up to date, CN and supplier payments are applied, and disputed amounts are properly accounted for and cleared.
  4. Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of cash purchases, posting of outgoing A/P payments, and bank reconciliation.
  5. Assist in preparation of tax filings and customs filings.
  6. Assist in preparation of A/P financial reports for management using standard templates, and provide recommendations for follow-up actions based on analysis of data.

Job Requirements:

  1. Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management or Accounting/ACCA/LCCI or equivalent.
  2. At least 3 years of related work experience for HR roles; 2 years for Diploma/ACCA/LCCI holders in Accounting roles. Fresh Degree graduates are welcome to apply.
  3. Candidate with less experience but possess good academic result and drive to excel are welcome to apply.
  4. Computer literate and IT savvy.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Good Excel spreadsheet skills such as Pivot table, Vlookup, Sumif, data sorting etc.
  6. Familiarity with Malaysia Labour Law, foreign worker management, all work passes’ application/ renewal is strongly preferred (HR role).
  7. 5-day working week.
