Job Overview
The Executive Health Advocacy will support ProtectHealth Corporation's mission by assisting in advocacy efforts, contributing to public policy discussions, and helping build strategic alliances. This role requires a proactive individual with a good understanding of the healthcare landscape, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with key stakeholders. Flexibility to travel as needed is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of advocacy strategies to influence healthcare policy at all levels.
2. Monitor and analyze healthcare policies, legislation, and regulations to support ProtectHealth’s mission and objectives.
3. Help prepare policy briefs, position statements, and advocacy materials to aid ProtectHealth’s advocacy efforts.
4. Support relationship-building efforts with key stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare providers, non-profit organizations, and community leaders.
5. Represent ProtectHealth at meetings, conferences, and public forums as directed.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to align advocacy efforts with organizational goals and strategies.
7. Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of advocacy programs and initiatives.
8. Help develop and manage budgets for advocacy activities, ensuring effective use of resources.
9. Track and report on the impact of advocacy efforts, including metrics and outcomes.
10. Contribute to the development and execution of communication strategies to raise awareness of ProtectHealth’s advocacy initiatives.
11. Create and disseminate educational materials and resources to inform stakeholders and the public about health advocacy issues.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in health advocacy, public policy, or a related field.
3. Demonstrated experience in policy analysis, development, and advocacy.
4. Strong understanding of the healthcare system and public health issues in Malaysia.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
8. Strong organizational and project management skills.
9. Pro-active mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive results.
10. Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
