Job Description

Your role is to ensure the smooth operation of Accounts Receivable's daily functions and activities. You will collaborate with Sales to review Accounts Receivable assets, manage their conversion to cash, and reduce the risk of loss in value due to non-payment or delayed payment.

Activities may include but not limited to:

1. Preparing and posting journal entries, generating invoices, sending Statement of Accounts to customers, and following up on payments.
2. Being in charge of projects cash collections.
3. Monitoring and managing customer accounts.
4. Supporting month-end closing process in accounts receivable matters.
5. Maintaining files and documentation in compliance with company policy and accounting practices, in preparation for financial audits.
6. Handling the applications and submissions to mandatory banking, economic, revenue reports, etc.
7. Preparing and submitting reports to Bank Negara on a quarterly basis.
8. Managing relationships with outside legal counsel as required e.g., in matters concerning bankruptcy or legal collections.

Qualifications

• At least Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of working experience in account receivable, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in Oracle in a manufacturing environment will have an added advantage.

• Strong data analysis skills and detail-oriented.

• Self-initiative and motivated and is adaptive to changes and demand.

• Good communication skills and fluent communication and writing in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
