Executive (Events & Marketing)

• Assist in serving the Executive Committee and the National Council.
• Provide support services to the Events team in organising various events of the Association, Events, Sports & Recreation Committee, the MAPEX Organising Committee and the Annual Dinner Organising Committee.
• Plan, execute, market and manage REHDA’s property exposition (MAPEX), conferences, seminar, talks, publications and other income generating activities of the Association.
• Plan and organise social events of the Association such as Annual Dinner, Open House and other social activities.
• Communicate effectively with members, participants, internal teams and external vendors, suppliers, media to ensure smooth event execution.
• Assist in timely production and distribution of REHDA’s monthly newsletter (REHDA Bulletin).
• Assist in content management of REHDA website, Facebook page and other social media initiatives.
• Assist in preparation of communication materials including below-the-line materials.
• Assist in production and coordination of REHDA Annual Report.
• Assist in marketing of REHDA membership.
• Any other duties as may be required by the Management.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma holder in related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years experience in event management and marketing of expositions, study tours, conference, seminars, talks, etc handling event coordination, liaison with exhibitors/participants, vendors, media, etc.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to work under pressure, systematically in a very fast paced environment with minimum supervision - independently or in a team.
• Social media adeptness - facebook, website, whatsapp, etc.
• Experience with large-scale exhibition planning is an added advantage.
• Skills in basic graphic editing or digital marketing platform experiences would be an advantage.
• Good command of verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
