JOB PURPOSE

As an Executive of Deposit & Wealth Solutions, the individual will play a team player role in supporting the Head in achieving Group Enterprise Banking targets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

To assist Manager/Head of Unit in:

1. Scouting for business and revenue opportunities in the areas of deposits, bancassurance, business wealth, and fee income as part of the business ecosystem.
2. Developing revenue initiatives, including alternative income from non-funded products – banca, cash management, and deposits.
3. Participating in all deposit and fee income product development, frontline education, sales training, and delivery channel expansion activities, including but not limited to handling business partners and alliances.
4. Envisioning new business wealth ideas and following up on approval, implementation, tracking, and improvement activities.
5. Preparing presentations, budgets (in collaboration with finance), and proposals on new business/product development and ideas for management approval and implementation.
6. Tracking and resolving operational issues with internal stakeholders and external partners on all ancillary business subjects with the objective of easing frontlines in achieving sales targets.
7. Assisting in the review and negotiation of pricing as well as the cash management solutions package offered to customers of the assigned segments.
8. Keeping abreast of external factors influencing/affecting the assigned segments, including economic, geographical, procedural, and regulatory requirements, and ensuring that proactive measures may be taken swiftly.
9. Undertaking additional responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and relevant working experience in the financial industry.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in banking with knowledge in the relevant business.
3. Preferably with Insurance products Certification.
4. Excellent in MS Excel and ability to apply relevant Excel formulas for critical data analysis.
5. Must have proven attention to detail, with excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills by conducting root cause analysis and statistical analysis.
6. Good at MS PowerPoint and presentation skills.
7. Passion, high level of energy, and strong sense of urgency for executing projects.
8. Good communication skills and ability to work successfully with minimal supervision and perform under pressure.
