POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Coordinate and execute all ground works for internal & external events and CR activities (to ensure the smooth execution of all event management and corporate responsibility activities).

Essential Position Functions

  1. To execute the implementation of the company’s events/government relations by organizing, coordinating and managing events.
  2. Implementation of improvement plans and policy to eradicate recurring issues in managing events.
  3. Coordinate and execute the related activities to enhance effective working relationship between staff and the management.
  4. Coordinate an official visit by dignitaries and to undertake all relevant arrangements.
  5. Execute all CSR identified projects under the CSR framework according to the timeline and budget.
  6. Assist in identifying new CR projects to improve visibility and enhance targeted community and stakeholder engagement.
  7. Execute any other projects as directed by management.
  8. All other duties that may be assigned on an ad-hoc basis by the Manager, Corporate Communications.
  9. Representing the division in internal and external meetings.

Key Challenges

  1. To meet the objective and integrate with organizational requirements for event managements, corporate communications and organization as a whole.
  2. To provide a comprehensive range of professional services in Corporate Event Services.
  3. To communicate thoroughly on the coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure the key messages come across and the execution of the event run smoothly.
  4. Keeping pace with the external and internal requirements to ensure maximum value and visibility of CR programs.

Skills

  1. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  2. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Highly collaborative in a high-pressure environment.
  4. Demonstrate customer service oriented with pleasant personality and a focus on delivery excellence.
  5. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  6. Must be computer literate.

Relevant Industries

  1. Degree holder with minimum CGPA 3.0.
  2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  3. A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is an advantage.

Education

  1. Degree preferably with specialization in Mass Communication or equivalent.
