Job description

Our Client is one of the world's leading logistics providers and has a significant presence in Malaysia. Our Client specializes in providing integrated logistics services, including freight forwarding, supply chain management, and contract logistics.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility, monitoring inventory levels and product movement, controlling and isolating non-conforming products as defined by local work instruction and in conformance with client expectations and quality standards, ensuring a conforming product mix and facilitating efficient order fulfillment.

Job Responsibilities (Duties / Tasks)

  • Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity, product identification and location program, researching inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections, and managing the inventory control function at the site.
  • Overseeing physical inventories, cycle counts, random or receipt audits, reconciliations, tracking and reporting non-conforming products, resolving inventory problems in a timely manner, and documenting and controlling aged, scrap & damaged products.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management/client and coordinating efforts across operations departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
  • Must be able to pass the Stock Picker (SP) certification test and handle the unit on a daily basis.
  • Initiating action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality systems, recommending or providing solutions through appropriate channels, and verifying the implementation of the solutions.

Job Specification (Qualification, Experience, Skills, Attributes)

  • Degree/Diploma holder in relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and SAP would be an advantage.
  • Service oriented, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Stock Picker/Forklift license holder.
