About the job Executive Assistant to the MD
Responsibilities:
Act as the main liaison between the Managing Director (MD) and stakeholders. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Manage MD's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments. Prioritize tasks to ensure effective time management.
Prepare materials for meetings, conferences, and presentations.
Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports for informed decision-making.
Handle communication & correspondence on behalf of MD, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate travel arrangements for the MD and other executives.
Maintain and update company records, ensuring confidentiality.
Assist in managing special projects and initiatives.
Provide general administrative support e.g. managing calls & supplies, and other administrative tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as an executive assistant to senior management.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail, assertive attitude, and exceptional written & verbal communication.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and email management.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive initiative.
Ability to work independently, be resourceful and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with the construction/buildings/engineering industry or related field is a plus.
