Project Overview
The SEBANA GOLF & MARINA RESORT (SGMR) is the maiden project undertaken by Sebana Golf & Marina Resort Berhad, the master developer. SGMR seeks to provide a unique holiday experience for its guests, underpinned by world-class quality services and luxuriously appointed interior designs. SGMR aims to provide an unforgettable holiday experience, focusing on integrating world-class services, luxuriously appointed accommodation, great food, healthy & fun activities, eco-education adventures, captivating entertainments, and something for everyone in the family.

Your Goal

1. Financial Transactions & Record-Keeping
   • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
   • Record financial data accurately in accounting systems.
   • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and expense reports.
2. Reconciliation & Reporting
   • Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.
   • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
   • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients/vendors as needed.
3. Taxation & Compliance
   • Assist with tax filings, GST/VAT calculations, and other regulatory requirements.
   • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
   • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data.
4. Budgeting & Financial Analysis
   • Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
   • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
   • Assist in cost control and financial planning initiatives.
5. Collaboration & Process Improvement
   • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
   • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency.
   • Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Ideal Applicant

1. Experience & Education
   • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
   • Certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus.
   • Proven experience as an Accounts Executive, Accountant, or in a similar role.
   • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting.
   • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Xero).
   • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
   • High attention to detail and accuracy.
   • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
   • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
   • Experience in Hospitality Industry.
