Events Sales Executive supports the Director of Sales to manage and sell event space on behalf of the hotel to maximise revenue.
Responsibilities
Works closely with the Food & Beverage and Kitchen on engineering menus for high profitability and experiential value. Preparation of Banquet Event Orders and responsible to ensure they are issued and distributed in a timely manner and accurately.
Respond to requests for proposals for events including set-up, food and beverage needs, audio-visual needs, rooms and any other ancillary needs related to an event.
Establishes a strong rapport with the event organisers and guests of the Hotel for return business and referral of future businesses.
Listen actively to guest’s requests and feedbacks from the event organisers and resolve the problem before the end of the Event and/or departure of the event organisers.
Participate in daily business review meeting, banquet coordination meeting, sales meetings and management meetings.
