Responsibilities:
Lead, drive and oversee the overall planning for event projects, such as academic meetings, symposiums, workshops, or booth exhibitions.
Ensure the smooth execution of event production and logistics, optimizing resources planning for maximum efficiency.
Employ the highest standards of practice to deliver optimum results for all events.
Day-to-day liaison with internal teams, venues, contractors, suppliers, and exhibitors to keep event projects on track.
Compile post-event reports and analysis, including budget management and cost bargaining.
Flexibility to travel abroad for event support, particularly to Hong Kong and Singapore.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers.
Manage the event budget.
Handle problems that arise during the event.
Ensure the event complies with insurance, health, and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in event management, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant B2B event experience.
High ability to work independently, meet deadlines consistently, and operate within budgetary targets; excellent time management, organization, and prioritizing skills.
Confident team player with a creative and innovative approach; well-organized with meticulous attention to detail and strong proofreading and analytical skills.
Familiar with hybrid meeting settings, knowledge of common online meeting software, and experience working with vendors of PA systems, stages, and control panels.
Mature, proactive, able to work independently with a positive attitude.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills; must speak fluently in Cantonese and have experience hosting events independently as PIC.

Strong organizational and planning abilities.

The ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
