Job description

Job Responsibility

  1. Support Sales & Marketing team on exhibition info, reports directly to the manager.
  2. Assist in pre-event preparation, planning & communicate with vendors to ensure event runs smoothly & accordingly.
  3. Recruit temporary event staff, manage free gift stocks.
  4. Coordinate and implement all operations matters with sales, marketing & design team.
  5. Liaise with suppliers (e.g., contractors, venue owners, printing company, licensing, etc.).
  6. Compile feedback and prepare post-show report.
  7. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  8. Data key-in, filing, recording, etc.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidate studying in Marketing, Business Studies, Events, Management or equivalent.
  2. Able to communicate in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia & English. Candidates fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese preferred as the role requires dealing with Mandarin speaking clients.
  3. Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment.
  4. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  5. Have your own transportation and willing to travel outstation.
  6. Good time management skills, able to manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. An ideal candidate would be dedicated and hardworking, interested in event management and event planning.
