Event Executive

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Event Executive to join our vibrant team at Wonder Space Marketing & Consulting in Kuala Lumpur. As an Event Executive, you will play a pivotal role in planning, organising, and executing successful events that align with our clients' marketing strategies and objectives.

What you'll be doing

1. Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and translate them into detailed event plans.
2. Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless event logistics and execution.
3. Manage event budgets and ensure effective cost control measures are in place.
4. Oversee the promotion and marketing of events to maximise attendance and engagement.
5. Provide on-site event management and oversight to ensure the smooth running of events.
6. Conduct post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for future improvements.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in event management, preferably within the marketing and communications industry.
2. Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
4. Creative flair and the ability to conceptualise and execute innovative event ideas.
5. Proficient in event planning software and tools, and experience in managing event budgets.
6. Passion for the events industry and a keen eye for detail.
