Job Description:

• Daily monitoring, logging, and handling IETS operation – highlighting all findings to EHS and Facilities Manager (IETS – Industrial Effluent Treatment Plants) according to DOE requirements.
• Ensure no interruption on DI and no pollution of wastewater to the environment/monsoon drain (DI – Deionizer water).
• Regularly prepare weekly inventory reports to DOE system via DOE online, as required by DOE (Department of Environmental).
• Follow up and update plant chemical registration and PPE matrix and registration (PPE – Personal Protective Equipment).
• EHS buy-off.
• Registration & log PTW on all Sanmina vendors and site safety monitoring (PTW – Permit To Work).
• Assist EHS Officer with risk assessment and documentation requirements.
• Conduct regular site audits/inspections and report EHS findings.

Qualifications:

• Priority given to IETS Competent Person (CP) certificate holders (experience in IETS is a must).
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or EHS related field.
• Experience in handling EHS - Environmental, Occupational Safety, and Health related work – added advantage.
• Experience conducting training for employees and vendors in fluent English and Malay – added advantage.
• Experience conducting ISO14001 or RBA (EICC) internal audits – added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel – added advantage.
• Added advantage if capable of report writing, emailing, and holding meetings as needed.
