Drive EHS KPIs based on global EHS strategy and target.
Provide EHS technical advice and oversee EHS management at VAT Malaysia Plants.
Develop strategies and plans to roll-out EHS Global policies and procedures.
Monitor and ensure country regulatory compliance and develop appropriate strategies for implementation.
Develop and deliver EHS training, education and awareness in support of policies and/or initiatives where applicable within the business and legal requirements.
Lead site in incident investigations including but not limited to injuries, environmental releases, fires, and explosions and recommend appropriate preventive actions.
Responsible for EHS talent management and mentoring, EHS development programs, goal setting, performance appraisals, and succession planning.
Collaborate with all levels in the organization to build safety culture.
Support RBA and site sustainability topics.
Support organization on any other EHS related matters.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or (B.Eng.) in occupational safety & health or environmental or related field.
Certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH, with valid green book.
Certified lead auditor for ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 Management System.
10+ years of work experience on Environmental, Health & Safety in manufacturing environment (global company preferred)
3+ years of work experience in managerial position
Team player, self-motivated, goal-oriented, flexible, with the ability of motivating people and self-motivation, consistency, reliability.
Strong leadership and relationship-building, facilitation, and influencing skills; ability to build trust among those with diverse personal styles.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
