Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Admin - Your future position?

As the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Admin, you will provide essential support in daily operations, focusing on one or more specialized areas within EHS. Your role will involve assisting with various tasks to ensure compliance and promote a safe and healthy work environment. You will be reporting to EHS Manager / Operations Manager while being based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible for:

1. Support Management and operations staff for internal/external regulatory compliance with authorities related to Environment, Health and Safety; reporting to EHS Manager any clue of authority concerns.
2. Provide support in updates and maintain EHS management systems documentation (e.g. SOP/ SWI / records).
3. Maintain EHS filing system to ease compliance with recordkeeping requirements: DOSH, DOE Givaudan Standard and legal compliance.
4. Coordination of EHS internal & external activities such as: EHS Plans Programs, EHS training.
5. Support incident, injury and complaint investigations and propose corrective actions to be implemented.
6. Support on organizing EHS regulatory permitting requirements and submit permit applications to applicable agencies.
7. Update EHS Weekly Monthly Quarterly KPI performance report and circulate to the managers.
8. Support on organizing the development of EHS procedures/Policies, recommend changes when appropriate and track their implementation.
9. Support on organizing and follow up all audit findings; and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of their corrective & preventive actions.
10. Support on organizing site EHS committee meetings with preparing MOM and following up all actions agreed in the committee meeting.
11. Support on risk assessment and provide tangible solutions to minimize and update HIRAC & Environmental Aspect and Impact and keep the latest revision.

Your professional profile includes:

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in EHS within manufacturing related industries.
• Basic understanding of EHS principles and practices.
• Strong PC skills, including competency in MS Office products.
• Adaptable with a go-getter mindset.
• Able to work in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
