You are:

Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement and review and analyse these statements for statutory reporting
Analyses monthly financial close analytics and variance analysis
Act as the liaison for any queries from internal and external parties, including liaison with external auditors to ensure full compliance to the relevant statutory rules and accounting standards
Ensure that all external reporting, survey (as assigned) required by government agencies, statutory bodies, and statutory authorities are submitted accurately and timely
Monitor compliance of accounting policies and internal control
Proactively and promptly escalate and resolve issues in local systems, including developing and recommending areas for enhancements and improvements for the current systems and processes to meet the challenges and needs of financial reporting areas
Any other related functions assigned
Requirements:
Professional qualifications, CPA, ACCA or equivalent
Minimum 6 years of working experience in entity reporting with a proven track record in financial reporting
Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting, reporting and audit
Strong knowledge and interpretation of accounting entries, ensuring minimal errors in postings
Possess strong analytical skills in financial analysis, variance analysis and management reporting
Possess good knowledge and understanding of Approved Accounting Standards issued by MASB, Companies Act 2016 requirements as well as Bursa Listing Requirements rules, and any other legal aspects of financial reporting to ensure quality reporting and compliance
Proficient in Ms Excel and Ms Office applications and SAP
Experience in Listed Co and working in fast changing environment will be a plus
