About the Role
As the Global Enterprise Architect, you will be the driving force behind the realization and optimization of our IT architecture. You will align technology solutions with business strategies, reduce complexity, and enhance cost efficiency while fostering innovation in our IT landscape.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define, develop, and communicate the IT domain architecture that aligns with DHL's target architecture, ensuring it meets business requirements and reduces IT complexity.
- Technology Innovation: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance our IT support functions and respond to market demands.
- Collaboration: Build strong relationships with business IT leaders, solution architects, and subject-matter experts to ensure a comprehensive understanding of needs and successful implementation of architecture.
- Compliance Oversight: Review project documentation to ensure adherence to architecture standards and contribute to the migration strategy for business change initiatives.
Qualifications
Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is essential; architecture certifications from recognized professional bodies are preferred.
Required Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in multidisciplined IT roles, with at least 5 years in IT architecture leadership within high-volume, complex environments.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in designing and configuring IT solutions, with a strong focus on data and performance analysis.
- Global Perspective: Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a multinational organization and build effective partnerships across diverse teams.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
