Job description

To support our development in Asia-Pacific, we are recruiting a:

Techno-Commercial Manager (Animal Nutrition-Ruminants), Asia-Pacific
Based in Chennai (India) or Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

Your main goal:

Reporting to the Asia Pacific Director, you will further develop Phosphea’s range of mineral based products dedicated to ruminants (dairy, cattle) in selected Asia-Pacific markets.

Your main tasks:

  1. Develop sales of mineral based products on key ruminant markets.
  2. Understand the needs of the markets and the expectations of customers.
  3. Conduct products technical presentations to prospects and customers (integrators, feed and premix makers, farmers, distribution partners, etc.).
  4. Provide technical advice and personalized support to our partners.
  5. Collect and analyze market information (market study and technical, competition, regulatory monitoring).
  6. Negotiate commercial contracts and manage their implementation.
  7. Ensure the follow-up of commercial contracts, carrying out regular commercial tours, monitoring customer satisfaction and needs.
  8. Prospect and develop the client portfolio.
  9. Build customer loyalty by establishing a privileged relationship with your customers.

Your profile:
  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in veterinary science or PhD in animal nutrition / animal health or related field (DVM), with a focus on ruminants.
  2. Strong practical knowledge in ruminants’ mineral nutrition.
  3. Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in sales of specialty feed additives/raw materials, preferably in APAC.
  4. Passionate about livestock and the feed industry.
  5. Business and results oriented with passion for negotiating.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Excellent organizational skills.
  8. Entrepreneurial mindset.
  9. Eager to travel about 50% of the time.
  10. Fluent in English; other Asian languages will be an advantage.
