Job Description

1. Lead and manage a diverse engineering squad, handling daily operations and project planning.
2. Drive technical excellence through hands-on coding, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
3. Align project scope, timelines, and deliverables with business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
4. Mentor and support team members in solving technical challenges and career growth.
5. Facilitate Agile practices including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
6. Contribute to the design and development of scalable IP and Voice data stream processing solutions.
7. Identify and resolve technical debt, bottlenecks, and project risks.
8. Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
9. Conduct one-on-ones, provide feedback, and manage team performance.
10. Work with leadership to align squad objectives with organizational priorities.
11. Support recruitment to grow a strong and diverse engineering team.

The Successful Applicant

1. Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
2. 8+ years in software development, with 3+ years in leadership or mentoring roles
3. Strong proficiency in C/C++, including modern standards and frameworks
4. Solid knowledge of network protocols, IP traffic handling, and telecom engineering
5. Experience with multi-threaded programming, performance tuning, and distributed systems
6. Familiar with Agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum
7. Proven success in leading software projects and technical initiatives
8. Excellent problem-solving skills; able to guide team through complex challenges
9. Strong communicator, capable of explaining technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
