Job Description

OVERVIEW

• The incumbent is responsible as a technical generalist for C&I, PLC, IR 4.0 Implementation in Hartalega. Act as the overall coordinator for all internal & external engineering on projects as required. In this capacity, they are responsible for the successful design, implementation, commissioning, and hand-over of projects assigned by the Project Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Execution:

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, from scoping and planning to execution and deployment, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Industry 4.0 Implementation & Innovation:

• Support Hartalega’s Industry 4.0 strategy by developing solutions that integrate with IoT, PLC, and factory automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and optimize technologies such as machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI for real-time data processing.
• Develop automated data integration processes to provide a single, unified view of critical business data.

System Integration & Automation:

• Implement and manage the integration of various hardware and software systems to streamline processes across departments.
• Drive process automation to reduce manual efforts, improve data accuracy, and enhance overall efficiency.

Support & Training:

• Provide technical support to end-users regarding dashboard functionalities and data-related queries.
• Conduct training sessions to ensure internal stakeholders are effectively utilizing dashboards and data tools.
• Continuously monitor system performance and propose improvements to optimize data processes, dashboard functionalities, and integration capabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest Industry 4.0 trends and data technologies to propose innovative solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and related C&I/system improvement experience.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years working in electrical, control system, and instrumentation engineering.
• Preferred 1-2 years working in a manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates welcomed to apply.
