Engineer/Sr Engineer - Molding

Responsibilities:

• Conduct systematic process development on both existing and new molds, ensuring a balanced approach to the impact of mold, material, machine, and equipment in relation to specifications, measurements, and performance.
• Train and educate technicians to ensure a shared understanding and knowledge that is applied consistently across all molding processes.
• Perform mold and material trials to optimize projects, achieve cost savings, and support research and development initiatives.
• Troubleshoot issues and evaluate new projects to identify the best possible solutions, considering the overall setup and requirements.
• Analyze test results and data using statistical tools to obtain precise information and reach accurate conclusions swiftly.
• Document and organize all investigations and results systematically for easy access in the future.
• Understand and interpret specifications and requirements from a broader perspective, translating them into actionable tasks for daily operations.

Requirements:

• A diploma or degree in Engineering with extensive experience in Injection Molding.
• Proficient in supporting and troubleshooting day-to-day issues related to molding production engineering.
• Experienced in leading cost-saving projects in molding production engineering.
• Skilled in optimizing and improving molds, molding machines, and molding processes.
• Capable of conducting defect analysis on molded components and implementing effective problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledgeable in advanced molding technologies.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce defects in the molding production process.
