Engineer - Maintenance

Job Summary

Maintenance Engineer responsible for overseeing maintenance department activities and implementing best practices and value-added cost control for overall maintenance operation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning and scheduling the maintenance work and responding to machine/equipment failures.
2. Proactively previewing the work order and ensuring work order is carried out effectively and meets the schedule.
3. Supporting teams in troubleshooting day-to-day maintenance activities in the operations.
4. Periodic reporting on total plant maintenance performance, including monitoring percentage achievement of work orders, equipment performance, reliability and history of equipment, maintenance downtime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE/AEM, etc.
5. Responsible for updating total plant machinery document control.
6. Conducting studies to determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of plant machinery performance.
7. Engaging and coordinating closely with service contractors when necessary and providing necessary support.
8. Utilizing the deployment of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for physical asset registration, work order creation, stock level of inventories, manpower management, and maintenance planning and scheduling.
9. Working closely with safety officers or local authorities to ensure plant compliance with OHSA, DOE, and other legislations and regulations.
10. Tracking spares and consumables usage and ensuring adequate provision for day-to-day operation.
11. Complying and adhering to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
12. Any other duties assigned from time to time by Management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or relevant field.

Competencies Required

At least 3 years of working experience.

Skills & Abilities

• General computer knowledge.
