We are working with a derivative sales house looking to hire an energy derivatives sales specialist to join the commercial team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients such as hedge funds, utilities, and corporates in the Asia-Pacific region.
• Execute and manage client transactions in energy derivatives, including futures, options, and swaps.
• Identify and target new business opportunities to grow the client base.
• Collaborate with internal trading, risk, and research teams to deliver market insights and tailored solutions.
• Stay updated on energy markets, regulations, and global trends to provide strategic guidance to clients.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Energy Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in sales within energy derivatives or commodities markets.
• Strong understanding of energy markets, financial products, and derivatives trading.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, market-driven environment and meet revenue targets.
