About the role
Work Location: 1Powerhouse, PJ (5mins walk from MRT Bandar Utama)
Reporting To: Employee Relations Team Lead - Europe
Working hours: 2.00pm – 11.00pm / 3.00pm – 12.00am

As an Employee Relations Executive in the Tier 1, you will play a key role in ensuring administration underpinning all Employee Relations processes is completed accurately and on time and manage all tier 1 queries through to resolution or escalation.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing advice and support to our employees and People Managers on all basic Employee Relations process queries that come into the Kerry GBS.
  • Identifying and escalating to the Tier 2 Specialists, those cases that are sensitive or complex or could carry with them extra risk or exposure to the business.
  • Support the formal case cycle and help to coordinate the case management process using the required technology and methods of communication.
  • Assist in the co-ordination and delivery of training and development to People Managers to coach and upskill them, enabling them to appropriately manage and develop their people and build high performing teams that deliver.
  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, raising issues for follow up with the HR Advisor and People Managers where appropriate.
  • Completing regular and ad-hoc report requests.
  • Ensuring a positive experience for all employees and people managers.
  • Providing administrative support and assistance to the ER Specialists and ER Senior Specialists.
  • Manage all requests raised to the section through ServiceNow ensuring SLAs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner and escalating when required.
  • To be involved / support a variety of projects.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, labor relations or similar field.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience with exposure to working in Shared Services environment.
  • In depth knowledge of ServiceNow and all the advanced functionality it provides.
  • Able to manage all incoming queries and requests on matters of Tier 1 Employee Relations issues such as absenteeism, simple misconduct, occupational health etc.
  • Efficient reporting and analytical skills to work proactively to run reports to provide HR insights to the business.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment law and local regulations.
