About the role

ONE POWER LIGHTING SDN BHD is seeking an Electronics Engineer & Business Assistant to join our team in Puncak Alam, Selangor. As a part of ONE POWER, you will be responsible for communicating with our head office and our US customers with electrical and electronic knowledge. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for career growth and the chance to contribute to the success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Daily communication between our head office and Malay branch office; proficiency in Chinese is very important.
2. Communicate with foreign customers about new projects, shipping, quality issues, etc.
3. Engaging with customers to understand their requirements and offer tailored solutions.
4. Preparing detailed proposals and technical specifications for LED power supply projects.
5. Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on product selection, installation, and maintenance.
6. Collaborating with the engineering and marketing teams to stay up-to-date with the latest product developments and industry trends.
7. Generating sales leads, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals to contribute to the company's revenue targets.
8. Maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners to foster long-term business growth.

What we're looking for

1. Proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay.
2. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
3. Fresh graduate or one year of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role within the lighting industry.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into compelling sales narratives.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience with lighting design software.
6. Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing sales opportunities.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing business needs.
