Electrical Technician
Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with safety regulations.
- Execute daily Complaint Work Orders (CWO) and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Carry out Preventive Maintenance Work Orders (PMWO) as scheduled to minimize equipment downtime.
- Provide regular feedback to users on work order status and completion.
- Liaise closely with the Supervisor, Senior Technician, and other team members to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Conduct inspections and take photographic evidence of mishandling, negligence, or vandalism for reporting purposes.
- Identify and monitor fast-moving spare parts required for maintenance, ensuring proper stock levels and informing the Senior Technician accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory tracking.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures during all maintenance tasks.
- Support other technical teams as needed and undertake any other duties assigned by top management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and respond to emergency repairs promptly.
