ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join our team at Steel Centre (M) Sdn Bhd in Senai, Johor. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical systems and equipment in our manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position, offering the chance to be part of a dynamic and innovative company.

What you'll be doing

• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, identify the root cause, and implement effective solutions
• Carry out overhead crane inspection as necessary
• Change the blower / filter of slitters, Electrical panels and motors, etc every week
• Maintain detailed records of all electrical work performed
• Change high base lighting, fan when needed
• Provide support in the installation of new machine and during shifting of machines such as install wires and make trucking.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize the efficiency and performance of electrical systems
• Provide technical support and guidance to production staff as needed

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment
• FRESH GRADUATES are most welcome to apply
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including distribution, control, and automation
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
