Electrical Project Engineer

Job Responsibility

1. Managing the planning, coordination, and execution of Electrical projects from inception to completion
2. Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects
4. Identifying and resolving technical and logistical challenges that arise during the project lifecycle
5. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies
6. Providing technical expertise and guidance to support the overall success of the project
7. Monitoring and reporting on project progress, budget, and performance

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
2. Able to converse in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
3. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage as the position requires the candidate to communicate with Mandarin clients and colleagues.
4. Minimum 2 years of experience as an M&E Project Engineer or in a similar role
5. Experience in Data Centre related project is an added advantage
6. Strong understanding of M&E systems, including design, installation, and commissioning
7. Excellent Project Management Skills, with the ability to effectively plan, coordinate, and deliver projects
8. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents
9. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
10. Familiarity with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
11. Proficient in using project management software and other relevant tools
