Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical, HVAC & Plumbing Engineer to join our Project Department. The ideal candidate should have expertise in electrical systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing design and installation for construction projects. The role requires Mandarin proficiency to coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams effectively.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Weekend overtime may be required, with overtime pay provided above legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Engineering: Design and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
2. Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
3. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions to improve system efficiency.
4. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers for timely material procurement and site execution.
5. Develop and review HVAC system designs, including load calculations, ductwork, and ventilation plans.
6. Monitor the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
7. Ensure energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions are implemented in projects.
8. Identify and resolve HVAC-related issues at project sites.
9. Design and supervise the installation of water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems.
10. Ensure plumbing systems comply with industry standards and local building codes.
11. Conduct pressure testing, flow analysis, and troubleshooting of piping and drainage systems.
12. Work closely with the construction team to prevent water leakage, backflow, and other plumbing issues.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing engineering within the construction industry.
3. Strong understanding of building services design, installation, and project execution.
4. Familiarity with Malaysia’s building regulations and industry standards.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering design software is an advantage.
6. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to read, write, and communicate in Mandarin and English to coordinate with suppliers and project teams.
