Electrical Engineer

About the role

Our company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for our diverse range of projects.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and overseeing the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
• Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues, and providing maintenance support
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate electrical work with other trades
• Preparing detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation
• Providing technical guidance and support to project managers and clients

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in the construction or industrial sectors
• Excellent knowledge of electrical design principles, methods, and best practices
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and other engineering design software
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
