Deputy Quality Manager

Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

• Assist the Quality Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality procedures, standards, and specifications, ensuring compliance with ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and both national and international standards.
• Supervise and guide QC staff, including inspectors and supervisors, ensuring adherence to established quality procedures while fostering teamwork and providing necessary training.
• Oversee inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Approve compliant products, address defective items, and implement corrective measures to enhance product quality.
• Analyze quality performance data, prepare reports for management, and recommend improvements to reduce waste, optimize resources, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to integrate quality standards into manufacturing processes and address quality-related issues effectively.
• Act as a liaison with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to address quality-related queries and compliance requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in quality control or assurance, with leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in switchboard production.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, control circuits, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
• Experience in switchboard manufacturing will add advantage
