Electrical Project Engineer

Job Responsibility

• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate potential issues, and provide daily updates to clients and management; direct report to Sr. Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.
• Prepare project documents such as drawings, work programmes, material tracking lists, worker productivity tables, cable lists, and other related tasks.
• Project management, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Responsible for project site coordination with excellent cross-functional team communication with related persons-in-charge to ensure projects run smoothly and are completed within the given timeline.
• Execute project schedule planning, including coordinating works with sub-contractors.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning services of electrical systems and equipment.
• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical projects from inception to completion.
• Identify and resolve any technical and logistical issues that arise during the project contract term.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the overall success of the project.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an M&E Project Engineer or in a similar role.
• Possess solid knowledge of troubleshooting, and have good communication and interpersonal skills by working collaboratively with different departments and divisions.
• Acquire excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects effectively.
• Proficient in using project management software and other relevant tools.
• Have basic to strong knowledge of electrical systems; able to understand single line diagrams, layout drawings, specifications, and any other related fields.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D, or experience in Data Center will be an additional advantage.
• Able to be a good leader and team player in leading a team consisting of site supervisors and workers (>50 total).
• Familiar with relevant safety standards, regulations, and practices in the related field.
• Possess own transportation and able to travel during working hours (only if required).
