Qualifications & experience

• Min Degree in Technology management, Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years’ managerial experience in healthcare and support of health information
• system.
• Experience with IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, cybersecurity, networking and
• systems administration, databases and cloud technologies
• Experience with IT Governance , Risk and Compliance & IT Policy ,services performance
• metrics.
• Hands-on experience with IT budgeting, cost control, and vendor management.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring IT teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assist Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to ensure IT department smooth daily operation.
• In charge of development, installation, configuration and maintenance of Hospital infrastructure and hardware; Ensure necessary infrastructure/procedure is in place to facilitate 24x7 uninterrupted smooth operation; Develop/implement and maintain backup / recovery / disaster recovery procedure to maximize systems availability and stability. Ensure security of Hospital systems/network and data protection.
• Responsible for IT asset management and assist CEO to ensure license compliance.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedure, and standards to continuously improve IT departmental overall efficiency and productivity, and compliance with legal requirement.
• Assist to prepare and manage department operating, capital and manpower budget; maximise available resources with lean principle.
• Supervise and manage assigned subordinate staff and train staff. Evaluate employee performance and provide guidance and feedback to assigned staff. Counsel, coach and discipline employees are required.
• Work closely with department heads and/or designated staff and healthcare providers to identify and prioritize work requirement, communicate requirement to vendors and outside organizations.
• Identify, recommend, and manage deployment of 'best of breed' hardware and software upgrades and purchases of IT items.
• Evaluate and recommend cost-effective information technology / electronic-driven technology to enhance hospital operational efficiency and patient convenience/customer satisfaction.
• Assist to manage IT support coverage during off office hours, weekends, and Public Holidays.
• Ensure that the team members under your responsibility adhere to and upholds the Patient & Family Rights and Responsibilities (PFRR) at all time to improve patient experience by training and enforcing the correct approach in handling patients and their families.
• Assist to champion all quality and safety related initiatives and encourage team members and juniors to participate and contribute towards continuous improvement of the Hospital.
• Perform and other duties, or participate in committees or projects, that is assigned from superior or management from time to time.
